Physical Education, After School, Lunch Time & Vacational Workshops

There are thousand of young people in every Borough that are gifted, wishing for the opportunity to develop their artistic skills. For many of them this can only happen through clubs etc provided by their schools, colleges and youth & community centres.

We teach in various environments for the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Newham, Barking & Dagenham, Kensington & Chelsea and Waltham Forest.

Our Street & Bollywood dance and Drama workshops have proven to be a great success.

Objective

- To provide access to dance and or drama for students age 6-25 who are potentially gifted, low incomed families or at risk of anti-social behavior
- To act as mentors by example and encouragement

Aims for Students:

- To have fun whilst learning the arts of dance and dramatics.
- To have commitment
- To develop confidence, social skills, team spirit, coordination and discipline

BOOK A PERFORMANCE & DANCE WORKSHOP:

During the visit, Turbelle’s advanced Street Troupe will perform a 3 to 5 minute routine, before we carry out a 45minute workshop with your students.

TURBELLE’S TEACHING DANCE TO YOUR STUDENTS:

Having seen how successful the workshops are, you may well wish to appoint Turbelle’s to teach within your P.E classes, lunch time, vacational or after school and college workshops.

ACCREDITION:

We have direct access to the Duke of Edinburgh Awards, therefore students can utilise their classes with Turbelle’s to cover two of four criteria’s required for the award. The other two, we can advise them on or indeed put them in direct contact with their local Coordinator.
